Beacon — Health Tracking Reimagined

The Problem

Beacon’s users were dropping off within the first week. The existing health tracking experience was cluttered, punishing, and disconnected from the habits people actually wanted to build. Data was captured but never surfaced in a way that felt meaningful.

The Solution

We stripped the product back to its core loop: log, reflect, improve. A minimal check-in flow replaced a 12-step onboarding. Streaks gave way to flexible patterns that rewarded consistency over perfection. The result felt less like software and more like a habit itself.
