Drift — Analytics Platform

The Problem

Data teams were spending more time configuring dashboards than reading them. Drift’s early interface required deep SQL knowledge to extract value — blocking non-technical stakeholders entirely and creating a two-tier system inside every organization.

The Solution

We designed a drag-and-drop query builder with progressive disclosure: a simple surface for quick reads, full power underneath for analysts. A shared component library let the team ship new chart types 3× faster and kept the product visually consistent as it scaled.
